Instead of packing, I’ve procrastinated through the whole day. Saved all my work for the evening. Now tonight I’ve been looking at old pictures, playing guitar, drinking really strong paralyzers, and even ended up cutting my own hair. Now I’m sitting here, half-drunk, looking at all the packing I still need to do tonight.
All in all, it really was a good day. Obviously.
That’s a pizza I’ve got in that bag. We biked almost 4km to get that pizza, and it was fucking good. Oh, wine…you can make me do anything. Amiright??
I’ve been doing a lot of creeping lately, but not a lot of posting. Been taking a break from absolutely everything at the lake for the past month or so, and it’s been amazing.
Buuuuut…. This is me and a kitten I rescued by my dock yesterday. She’s barely 3 weeks old and was obviously abandoned. I am completely in love with her, but I found a good home for her and have to give her away on Monday. Not looking forward to it, but I’m happy. I just had to share, I mean, just look at her!

Taking my boss’ Escalade on a roadtrip to pick up the speakers and comedian from the airport for our big event tomorrow. Please don’t tell the cops I’ve got a cooler full of beer for them for the way back.
Also, here’s my favorite picture from last weekend.
I fell asleep because of a bottle of liquor, my cat fell asleep in the bag it came in.
Note: Half of her body is actually inside the bag. She went in, made a hole, crawled halfway out and passed out.
Since my mom passed away, my dad’s been awkwardly trying to be the supportive, sensitive dad i never got to know too well when i was in high school. Its cute, really. He found out about my… recent breakup, and decided to interfere.
So here’s the brilliant plan he came up with: now that he knows I’m single again, my dad volunteered me to take his friends’ 18 yr-old sons to a bar in Manitoba since the legal drinking age is lower there. Told me he got me a date with a few “cute boys”. I get to give them their first bar experience, and one of them his first drink. Ever.
Thanks, dad. How thoughtful.
